This album was originally intended for Colin Newman and Malka Spiegel's Swim imprint but eventually made it's way to us in the spring of 2002. Oliver Doerell and Roger Döring had spent some time writing pieces for theatre and installation work, but in the process had managed to tap into something that Berlin and Manchester branches of CCO both succumbed to immediately. Snapshots of life, smoky rooms, evocative narratives, an intellectual backdrop to a collection of tracks that contained some of the most evocative and emotionally-driven music we had ever heard. An album to fall in love to.
