Recorded live in Philadelphia in May 2025, »Live at Pageant: Soloveev« documents the first meeting of Bill Nace (Body/Head) and Mike Polizze (Purling Hiss). Across 23 minutes, the taishōgoto/guitar duo explores dense, improvised amplified string music, flying through phases of post-Brancan atonal fury and post-Hendrixian bluewailing. It’s a dense clash of frequencies in converse. Crying, raging, droning, lunging, grunging up into an evil, screaming little ball - all the colors of the noise rainbow woven aloft, alive in the Philly night.
