Actress’ Werkdiscs re-launches with »Concrète Waves«, a document of a collaboration between two figures from different generations of avant-garde electronic music. The LP features two of their performances, one captured in London, the second in Barcelona. These »improvised musical conversations« bring together the organic fluidity of Ciani’s Buchla expressions with the rhythmic eclecticism of Actress’ so-called »R&B Concrète«, shifting from the gentlest synth and piano tones to excessive bass drums and back.
