Originally conceived as a commissioned composition for Australian visual artist Thomas Jeppe, »Market« was created to accompany an immersive installation exploring the hallucinatory rhythms of cosmopolitan life. Recontextualized for the club, »Market« bridges installation and dance floor, reinforcing Low Jack’s singular ability to move fluidly between experimental art contexts and forward-leaning club music — now sharpened further by Bambounou’s remix, which pushes the track into electro territory.
